Position Purpose

According to a recent 2017 market analysis, “the 2017 projected growth rate for the US consulting market is eight (8) percent,
with industry projections hovering in the three (3) percent to 12 percent range. That rate of projected growth eclipses the 7.1%
percent actual growth figure from 2016.” The research also “projects that by the end of 2018, the US consulting market will have
to increase its human capital number nearly 78,000 to satisfy current demand.” Three trends are cited as key sources of fuel
increasing the demand for Federal and commercial human capital transformation:

1. The impact of the integration of management and technology consulting,
2. The increasing importance of data and analytics in the consulting process and
3. The increasing tension between talent demand and supply which is fueling the war for talent.

The Company is responding to the phenomenal growth in demand for Federal Human Capital (HC) consulting in the
Washington, DC Metropolitan Market (Maryland - DC - Virginia). The Company already has a marque client list of well-known global brands but now is investing aggressively to support HR Transformation efforts within the Federal Human Capital consulting practice. HR Transformation (HRT) consulting team members work closely with clients to develop human capital-centered solutions to complex business challenges. The team leads organizations through large-scale transformations and defines talent strategy, training, change management and operational approaches to achieve strategic and operational excellence.



Position Overview

The Senior Manager will serve as the visionary leader to provide thought leadership for both the new consulting practice and for
clients in need of transformative solutions. The Senior Manager will effectively and ethically serve the U.S. Federal and Federal
contracting communities by partnering to design and deploy HR transformation solutions which deliver client-denominated
improvements, e.g., automation, SaaS and PaaS-based delivery, improved quality, lean operations, reduced total cost of
operations, talent acquisition effectiveness, goal-oriented performance management, business analytics for data-driven decision
support and more…a lot more.

The Senior Manager is a high profile role and a key business-to- business (B2B) market developer with a mission of building the
Federal HCM Transformation consulting practice by leveraging the Company’s comprehensive set of consulting, digital and
strategy capabilities to design and deploy solutions to clients’ problems.

THOUGHT LEADERSHIP AND HUMAN CAPITAL STRATEGIST (Senior Manager)

  • Embody the role of a Strategist, Visionary and Pioneer to “create the destination” for the client and then take them there
  • Serve as a strategic human capital consultant and advisor to clients
  • Interpret client requirements and pain points, particularly relative to long-term goals, industry changes, competitive pressures, etc.
  • Understand the mind of the client, build trust-based relationships and create confidence with prospects and clients
  • Demonstrate how clients can take advantage of enabling technologies, advanced workforce planning methodologies, employee engagement tools and analytics to realize their full potential
  • Demonstrate competency in a wide range of strategic solutions from restructuring an organization to increase efficiencies to the development of global communication strategies which elevate the level of internal talent to capitalizing on the benefits of a new technology

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Actively target and drive vertical marketing within the U.S. Federal and Federal contracting communities
  • Acquire, analyze and leverage client data, market research and industry data to target prospective opportunities
  • Influence and propose content consistent with the approved strategy, messaging, thought leadership position, value proposition, etc.
  • Use approved corporate advertising collateral to protect Company’s market brand and reputation
  • Deliver marketing and promotional communications to target prospective market
  • Maintain regular and consistent telephone and in-person contact with decision-makers within target organizations
  • Understand and communicate the Company’s unique value proposition
  • Support the development of proposals in response to Requests for Proposals from prospective clients by providing creative solutions to complex challenges, leveraging internal networks and capitalize on expertise around the firm to develop comprehensive approaches to client challenges, and articulating approaches that are customized to the prospective client needs.

SOLUTION DESIGN AND CONVERSION

  • Manage the end-to-end process and function as the primary client POC from needs analysis to implementation
  • Gather needs-based data in support of solution proposals consistent with Company services, SLAs, pricing, etc.
  • Conduct needs-based discussions, stakeholder meetings, solution presentations, etc. in support of activity targets
  • Manage all appointment setting and logistical planning for client demonstrations, presentations, etc.
  • Partner with team members to deliver software demonstrations and other subject matter expertise
